the wolfman.

I give this movie a 'D'. Maybe that's a bit harsh, but I didn't enjoy it at all. I believe all in all...there were about three scenes in the entire movie that was pretty cool. There's only so much you can do with a Werewolf movie. The idea was cool, but they failed in the creativity department, which to me is a BIG deal. So anyway, the story was just okay. It reminded me a lot of American Werewolf, and I couldn't help but think about Michael Jackson's Thriller. Even the werewolf scene in thriller was way cooler. This movie just didn't seem to have it's own creative elements.

**SPOILERS**

Let's talk about the werewolf. I like Benicio Del Toro a lot, and it's not his fault that the director was a tard. But his werewolf, get up, was the worst. This isn't the 70s/80s, it's 2010. If you want to create a monster, use Underworld as reference. Not some low budget indie film that was created when our parents used to go out on the town. Not cool, it ruined the movie for me. It was scarier when they didn't show "the beast". But when they showed it, I was like, oh...that's what everyone is running from? What I'm getting at, it had no impact what so ever, we want big. If your going to create a movie that has monsters, go all out, don't just get a guy and glue some pubes to him and tell him to go chase people. Although it would be funny to see...if that's the look and feel your going for.

There were some interesting moments in this movie. There were scenes where he started to hallucinate as part of one of the symptoms of his "curse". Those were pretty creepy and awesome. And the scenes where he was remembering things from his past. Oh! Not to mention, the transformation from man to beast, was awesome, a little gross looking, but really cool. I'd say that's about it. Nothing else stood out to me.

In conclusion, if this movie was any more cornier it would be a corn field in the south of the US. I'm sorry, that's not really funny, but I have no idea what else to say about this movie. If you haven't seen it, there's really no rush. If you haven't seen it, but want to, fine whatever do what you want. Your either the type thats not going to like it or is going to like it a lot, and if your the one that likes it a lot, do me a favor and don't come to this blog anymore. You might as well go watch 'Disaster Movie'.

forgetting sarah marshall.

Funny. I really enjoyed this movie. It made me laugh a lot. It made me feel a little uncomfortable and it also made me feel really sorry for the guy. There wasn't anything amazing about this movie, if you enjoy comedy then your on the right track. In a way I feel that this movie was lacking something, but I still can't quite put my finger on it. Perhaps the many shots of ass and penis is keeping me from thinking straight.

**SPOILERS**

Before we go on I'd have to say, I think I've mentioned this before, but I cannot stand people who cheat. This is obviously a movie and meant for comical purposes, I still can't help, but over think this and relate it to possible mishaps that can come aright in my life. I truly do sympathize for Peter. I can't say I've ever been that pathetic as he was, but you do feel sorry for the guy. It was funny, but you know...it sucks. I don't even like that Sarah Marshall twat. She played a shitty actress in the movie, which was the whole point, but I guess that's how she really acts in real life movies. Personally I prefer Rachel. Maybe it's just me not liking blondes. Maybe that's it! This whole time I've written bad reviews about actresses was really my hatred for blondes. But no seriously, Rachel is way prettier, and way more down to earth, so I'm glad they got together in the end.

Can someone please tell me what is up with that Russell Brand guy. He's not the worst, but definitely up there. He was funny in this movie, but annoying at the same time. I just don't find him that great, so it's hard to watch him. I do like how he was so calm through out this movie, as if nothing bothered him and everything was just good. Even when Peter called him on the whole cheating thing he's just like "oh yeah...good times".

So like I said, I found some parts of this movie a little uncomfortable, or just weird. The sex scenes I was not a fan of. Usually I don't care, but this was a bit too weird. Like when Sarah Marshall was doing it. Guhhh, I couldn't even watch. Her face was just retarded.

Anyways, this is a great movie. Not as good as 40 Year Old Virgin, but it was still pretty satisfying. If you enjoy comedies, male nudity then this movie is right for you. If you don't enjoy male nudity then you're most likely a guy (who is uncomfortable with their sexuality, shut up, you are.) or a lesbian. But definitely check it out if you already haven't. If not just go watch "Not Another Teen Movie". That's probably more your type of movie anyways.
